DORSKY HODGSON PARRISH YUE

With the continuing pace of development of unique mixed-use environments, Dorsky Hodgson Parrish Yue is focusing on all of the primary elements that create the essence of those dynamic venues.

That includes the full range of retail types and mix, dining venues, residential, offices and hotels — all interwoven with a sensitive composition of streetscape elements, plazas, and green areas, as the matrix for creating the excitement of a unique sense of place for each site.

Every project is a new challenge — creating a unique design synergy. And each is influenced by clients' visions, market criteria and the uniqueness of the surrounding environment.

A number of our projects are transit-oriented developments (TODs) reflecting the pulse and energy of urban excitement enhanced by transit hubs. Current projects are underway in Maryland, Virginia, Washington, D.C., New Jersey and Florida.

Off Brickell is a TOD in Miami's dense Brickell Avenue area. It combines hotel, offices and a two-story retail element located between the Metrorail and MetroMover.

The majority of our major projects are mixed-use developments. The Polo Club in Plainfield, Ill., for Poag & McEwen will include 610,000 square feet of retail, with a hotel, restaurants and office space.

Our firm's three focused market areas — commercial, which consists of retail, office, hotel and entertainment; residential, consisting of the full range of condos, rental apartments, urban infill and lofts; and senior living campuses, which include urban hi-rise, continuing care communities, and major wellness environments. All are being incorporated in many of our projects as developers strive to seek the right mix for a successful mixed-use development.
