Jacmar To Build $23M Industrial Facility

INDUSTRY, CA—Jacmar Foodservice Distribution has purchased the 10.67-acre industrial site at 300 N. Baldwin Park Blvd. in Industry, Calif. Chalmers Equity Group disposed of the property after entering into negotiations with three potential buyers.

“This was a complex transaction that was in escrow for nearly 1.5 years,” said Senior Vice President Jeff Bethel of Lee & Associates, who represented the seller. “As a former redevelopment agency site, CEG was required to get approval from the state level agency.”

The company plans to build a $23 million, 232,000-sq.-ft. facility on the property. The new building will allow Jacmar to relocate from its current location in Irwindale, Calif. and use the space as its corporate headquarters. The new facility will have 32’ minimum ceiling height, 25 dock high loading doors as well as cooler and freezer storage.

Jacmar was represented by John Tilley of The Imperium Co.
