All the Way to the Bank

Bank of America plans to open 200 retail centers in 2004 and 2005, focusing on the top 25 U.S. markets. The company's new 4,600-square-foot prototype requires 1 to 1.5 acres of land for purchase or ground lease. Bank of America is targeting outparcels near market-leading grocers or high-volume big boxes such as Target and Wal-Mart.
