ASHA MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES

Executive Board Member

privileges include:

  • Complimentary attendance at the ASHA Annual Meeting, Spring Executive Board Meeting and Fall Meeting (for three representatives, space permitting).
  • Serving as officers of ASHA.
  • Chairing ASHA Task Forces.
  • In addition, Executive Board Members receive all of the benefits offered to the Advisory Committee.


Annual Dues: $10,000
$7,500 (Introductory first year rate)

  • Membership on the Executive Board is limited to seniors housing owners, operators or investors with approval of the Executive Board. Other industry professionals may be permitted on the Executive Board subject to prior approval of the Executive Committee with subsequent ratification by the Executive Board. Suppliers/Vendors are not eligible for Executive Board participation.



Advisory Committee Member

privileges include:

  • Complimentary attendance at the ASHA Annual Meeting and Fall Meeting (for two representatives).
  • Participation in ASHA Task Forces.
  • Access to ASHA's membership list for mailings.
  • Receipt of ASHA's Seniors Housing Update, State Policy Update, Legal Notes and Research Notes newsletters.
  • Complimentary copy of new ASHA research reports and source material.
  • Consultation with ASHA's professional staff for guidance on substantive and business opportunity questions.
  • Access to the “Members Only” section of the ASHA Website, which includes a comprehensive archive of ASHA newsletters and regulatory guidance, white papers, select research reports and other relevant information.


Annual Dues: $5,000 (Supplier/Vendor, Second-year plus Owner/Operator, Lender/Investor, other professionals) $2,500 (Introductory first year rate*) $2,500 (Non-Profit, law firm, accounting firm, broker)

* Not available to Suppliers/Vendors

Associate Member privileges include:

  • Complimentary attendance at the Annual Meeting (for one representative).

  • Receipt of ASHA's Seniors Housing Update, State Policy Update, Seniors Housing Legal Notes and Research Notes newsletters.

  • Consultation with ASHA's professional staff for guidance on substantive and business opportunity questions.

  • Complimentary copy of new ASHA research reports.

  • Admission to the “Members Only” section of the ASHA Website, which includes a comprehensive archive of ASHA newsletters and regulatory guidance, white papers, selected research reports and other relevant information.



Annual Dues: $1,250
(Associate Membership is not available to Suppliers/Vendors)

Membership dues in the American Seniors Housing Association are not deductible for income tax purposes as a charitable contribution, but a portion may be deductible as a business expense or an expense incurred in the production of income.
