The State of Seniors Housing 1999 This 52-page report (published by ASHA in collaboration with Pricewaterhouse Coopers and the National Investment Center) was released in February 2000 and summarizes fiscal year 1998 data collected from a survey of 248 seniors housing communities located throughout the U.S. comprised of over 50,000 congregate/independent living units, assisted living beds, and long-term care beds.

Seniors Housing Construction Report: 2000 The fifth edition of ASHA's annual survey of market-rate seniors housing construction, this report analyzes trends in construction and provides detailed appendices with state-by-state rankings and a listing of every seniors housing project reported in the survey. Property types include: seniors apartments, congregate seniors housing, assisted living and continuing care retirement communities.

Seniors Housing Absorption Trends 2000 This 14-page report, published in May 2000, describes the results of an analysis conducted for ASHA by PricewaterhouseCoopers of absorption data collected from over 450 congregate, assisted living, and continuing care retirement communities that opened in the 1990s. The report is the most comprehensive analysis of seniors housing absorption trends ever compiled.

Seniors Housing State Regulatory Handbook: 2000 Released in May 2000, this 39-page book features grid-like matrices of key state licensure and regulatory requirements in all 50 states (and the District of Columbia) for assisted living residences and CCRCs. State-by-state comparisons are made easy in this user-friendly report, believed to be the most current and comprehensive publication of its kind.

Investment Trends in the Seniors Housing Industry This 16-page report, published in 1999, summarizes transaction data from 350 acquisitions of congregate seniors housing, assisted living and congregate seniors housing with assisted living. Information provided includes: sale price per bed/unit, overall capitalization rates, effective gross income multipliers and expense ratios.
