Hines has acquired 2100 M Street NW in Washington, D.C. for an undisclosed price. Prudential Real Estate Investors sold the 306,663 sq. ft. office building on behalf of German institutional investors. The Class-A property was built in 1969, but has undergone several major renovations within the past 10 years. 2100 M Street NW is located in the heart of the nation's capitol. The building is 99% occupied.

Normandy Real Estate Partners has acquired a pair of Boston office buildings for a total of $73 million. The two properties are located at 281 Summer and 321 Summer Street. The properties house 257,720 sq. ft. of combined office and retail space. Each of the buildings was recently renovated, and they are at 95% occupancy. The older of the two buildings was developed by the Boston Wharf Co. in 1911.
