DEALS & PROJECTS

Holliday Fenoglio Fowler has completed the sale of The Palatine, a 262-unit, Class-A high-rise apartment building in Arlington, Va., through a foreclosure auction. Crescent Heights of America was the successful bidder, purchasing the property for $118 million. Completed in 2008, The Palatine has a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom units that average 1,055 sq. ft. each. Building amenities include a rooftop pool with sundeck, fitness center and 24-hour business center.

Healthcare Trust of America, a self-managed, non-traded, real estate investment trust, has acquired a five-building medical office portfolio in Evansville and Newburgh, Ind. for about $45 million. The roughly 260,500 sq. ft. portfolio is 100% master-leased to Deaconess Clinic, an affiliate of Deaconess Health System. Deaconess Health System guarantees the leases on all five buildings.
