Lumenyte Appointment Irvine, Calif.-based Lumenyte International Corp. has appointed Kenneth E. Yarnell as director of architectural markets. Yarnell comes to Lumenyte after serving as vice president of customer care of Remote Source Lighting International. In his new post, he will lead the architectural sales and marketing team, which includes construction, display, theatrical, retail and entertainment lighting segments of the international markets.

NRCA Educational Conferences The National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA), Rosemont, Ill., is conducting a series of educational conferences this spring. The "Conference on Commercial Roof Problem Analysis and Roofing Options" helps attendees determine whether to repair or re-roof, learn about different product types, understand budgetary concerns and more. The "Conference for Field Operations Managers, Leadership - The Key to Effective Field Management" focuses on leadership and management skills for foremen, superintendents, project managers and others in field operations management. * Lighting Research Center, Troy, N.Y., has expanded its website to include reports and data from the National Lighting Product Information Program (NLPIP). The NLPIP provides objective manufacturer-specific performance information and evaluation of efficient lighting products. The organization publishes technical reports and guides that present manufacturers' data and independent test data in comparative formats for lighting specifiers. * Copper Sales Inc., Anoka, Minn., has launched its new website, www.unaclad.com, as an interactive tool for architects, specifiers and contractors to find and evaluate architectural metal building products for their projects. The website is project-based, giving specifiers examples of the products used in completed projects. Users will be able to view CAD drawings - even if they don't have CAD - on the website prior to downloading them.

* Golden Valley, Minn.-based Northwest Systems Lighting Co. has introduced an online warehouse at www.nwwarehouse.com. Contractors, facility managers and consumers can order energy-efficient lighting products around the clock.
