KEVIN KOWALSKI has been named regional director of the new Miami office of Investment Real Estate Associates (IREA). Kowalski will oversee IREA's expansion efforts in South Florida, an area of the country with strong population growth rates. Prior to joining IREA, Kowalski worked for 20 years in Florida's investment property industry.
JOHN COURTNEY has been appointed sales associate in the Staubach Co.'s Great Lakes region division. Courtney's responsibilities will include the development and maintenance of corporate business accounts on both a regional and a national level. Prior to joining the team at Staubach, Courtney worked for 12 years in sales at AT&T, Hewlett-Packard and Eastman Kodak.
DAVID F. CRANE has joined RREEF as vice president and district manager in its Boston office. In his new position, Crane will oversee assets in RREEF's Northeast region. Crane was previously vice president and partner with Meredith & Grew for more than 20 years.
KAREN JACKSON MILLER has been appointed senior associate in the Bethesda office of Trammel Crow Co. Miller will be responsible for project leasing and tenant representation. Before joining Trammel Crow, Miller was a broker associate at Patterson Woods Commercial Properties and at Coldwell Banker Commercial.
TOM STRICKLAND has been promoted to project manager in Clayco's St. Louis office. Strickland will manage design-build projects, oversee design coordination, pre- and post-construction services and construction management. Strickland joined the Clayco team in 2001.
PAM KOSTER has been named partner at Moran & Co.'s Mountain States division in Highlands Ranch, Colo. Koster will be responsible for managing multifamily investment sales. Koster rejoins Moran & Co., where she previously worked for 14 years, after working as acquisitions manager for RedPeak Properties.
DAVID DONATO has been appointed director of leasing at H&R Retail where he will focus on the property portfolio of H&R client Maryland Financial Investors Inc. Donato's responsibilities will include the leasing and asset management of 20 retail properties in the Washington/Baltimore area.

STEPHEN SPECTOR has been promoted to senior vice president and general counsel at The Macerich Co. of Santa Monica, Calif. Spector originally joined the Macerich team in 1988, and he brings more than 20 years of law experience to his position.
JAMIE EDWARDS has joined Clayco as a subcontract coordinator. Edwards will handle subcontractor agreements, tier lien waivers and payroll scheduling for subcontractors.
DEAN OSKVIG will be promoted to president and CEO of Black & Veach Energy, a construction engineering consulting firm located in Overland Park, Kan. as of Jan. 1, 2006. Previously Oskvig served as chief operating officer of Black & Veatch Energy.
