Robert K. Futterman & Associates LLC Louis G. Novick has joined New York-based Robert K. Futterman & Associates LLC as managing director. He is responsible for tenant representation in New York suburban markets for national retailers. Previously, Novick was managing director of retail services for Los Angeles-based CB Richard Ellis.

Terremark Construction Services Inc. Ira Schimmel has been named executive vice president of Miami-based Terremark Construction Services Inc. He is responsible for overseeing construction. Previously, Schimmel was president of Plantation, Fla.-based Schimmel Construction Services Inc.

Grubb & Ellis Co. Mark C. Howell has been promoted from senior vice president to executive vice president and national managing director of Northbrook, Ill.-based Grubb & Ellis Co. institutional services group. He is responsible for overseeing institutional client activities. Previously, Howell served as principal real estate investment officer for Sacramento-based California Public Employees' Retirement System.

The St. Joe Hospitality Development Group Robert L. Shinn has been appointed president of The St. Joe Hospitality Development Group in Orlando, Fla., a new operating division of The St. Joe Co., Jacksonville, Fla. He is responsible for overseeing the development of hotels, resorts and timeshares. Previously, Shinn served as senior vice president of Walt Disney Imagineering and president of The Celebration Co., a Disney subsidiary.

Edens & Avant Lyle E. T. Darnall has joined Columbia, S.C.-based Edens & Avant as vice president. He is responsible for expansion of strategic business development. Previously, Darnall was vice president of real estate and construction for Birmingham, Ala.-based Books-A-Million.

Pan Pacific Retail Properties Joseph B. Tyson has joined Vista, Calif.-based Pan Pacific Retail Properties Inc. as executive vice president and CFO. He is responsible for overseeing financial operations, capital markets and technology. Previously, Tyson served as CFO for The Allen Group, San Diego.

Healey & Baker John Travers has been promoted from deputy senior partner and senior partner designate to chairman and senior partner of Healey & Baker, a division of New York-based Cushman & Wakefield Inc. His appointment follows the retirement of Paul Orchard-Lisle. Travers is responsible for overall operations and has been with Cushman & Wakefield since 1975.

AEW Capital Management Robert G. Byron has been named managing director and head of AEW Capital Markets, a division of Boston-based AEW Capital Management. He is responsible for creating and executing capital market strategies for institutional clients and real estate operating partners. Previously, Byron was the investment banking managing director of Chicago-based Jones Lang LaSalle.

The Tuckerman Group Joshua D. Goldman has joined The Tuckerman Group, Purchase, N.Y., as managing director. He is responsible for finding and structuring investment programs and making new real estate investments throughout the United States. Previously, Goldman was vice president and secretary of Chicago-based Security Capital Preferred Growth Inc.

The Staubach Co. Rick Douglas has been promoted from executive vice president to COO of corporate services for The Staubach Co., Dallas, and has joined the firm's executive committee. He is responsible for business developmentand strategic planning. Previously, Douglas served as president of the Greater Dallas Chamber of Commerce.

GE Capital Real Estate David Shea has been promoted from CFO of the capital markets group to senior vice president of global e-business for Stamford, Conn.-based GE Capital Real Estate. He is responsible for Web technology and Website content. Shea has been with the company for more than 13 years in various positions.

Transwestern Group Charles R. Nash has been appointed to the newly created position of executive vice president and CIO of Chicago-based Transwestern Group, and also has been elected to the board. He is responsible for strategic partnering and development of business alliances for clients' technological needs. Previously, Nash was founder and president of Chicago-based Concord Realty Advisors.

Redwood Trust Inc. Terrance G. Hodel has been named to the board of directors of Mill Valley, Calif.-based Redwood Trust Inc. Hodel, who is retired, previously served as president and COO of Santa Rosa, Calif.-based North America Mortgage Co.

Welsh Cos. Bob Angleson has been promoted from senior vice president to president of Minneapolis-based Welsh Cos. He is responsible for day-to-day operations. Previously, Angleson was president and founder of St. Paul, Minn.-based Zehring & Angleson.
