St. Louis and Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif. - Old Town Plaza, a 285,000-sq.-ft. strip center, is the latest development from Jacksonville, Fla.-based Regency Realty Corp. Slated for a fall 2001 grand opening, the center will be anchored by Lowe's Home Improvement Center and will also feature four national junior anchors, 30,000 sq. ft. of side shop space and one restaurant pad.

In addition, Regency Realty recently partnered with Irvine, Calif.-based K&G Equities to develop the $15 million, 320,000-sq.-ft. Santa Margarita Marketplace. The neighborhood center, designed by Architects Orange and built by construction services firm Snyder Langston, features six buildings in a Mediterranean silhouette and a Mission-style motif. Anchor tenants include Lowe's Home Improvement Center, Linens `N Things, Staples, Pier 1 Imports and Marshall's.

Cary, N.C. - Locally based Konover Property Trust is developing a 198,000-sq.-ft. mixed-use project that will include its own new corporate headquarters. The center will be anchored by a 47,781-sq.-ft. Lowes Foods as well as more than 30 national and local specialty tenants and restaurants. Called Millpond Village, the center will also feature 198,000 sq. ft. of Class-A office space and is scheduled for completion in summer 2001.
