Polaris Fashion Place and Acloch aim high

When you're good, you're good. And through a strategic alliance with Acloché, Polaris Fashion Place plans to be even better. This alliance allows Acloché to be the official staffing agency of Polaris Fashion Place in order to recruit a top-notch staff for its many retailers.

“The strategic alliance with Acloché is one of the first relationships of its kind in the industry,” says Chris Lavender, general manager of Polaris Fashion Place. “We are partners with our retailers in the success of Polaris Fashion Place. With the 3,000-4,000 full and part-time jobs that need to be filled, helping retailers recruit the highest quality staff is one service we can provide to those partners.

“We know our customers, and we know they expect the highest in customer service. Acloché will help us achieve that goal,” Lavender adds.

As part of the agreement, Acloché will recruit, screen and train employees for Polaris Fashion Place retailers.

“We are thrilled to be part of Ohio's most exciting new shopping destination,” says Bobbie Ruch, president of Acloché.

At more than 1.5 million sq. ft., Polaris Fashion Place will be the region's largest mall and the first mall in the country to open with seven department stores and approximately 150 specialty shops and restaurants. Glimcher Realty Trust broke ground on the super-regional fashion mall on July 14, 2000. The mall is located at the intersection of I-71 and Polaris Parkway.

Acloché is operated by the Ruch Corp., the largest, locally owned staffing company, the fourth largest in Ohio and one of the top 100 privately held in the area. The Ruch Corp. has been honored by Business First as one of the area's Fastest Growing Fifty Companies and by Working Woman Magazine as one of the top 500 woman-owned businesses in the nation. It was ranked as the second-largest woman-owned business in central Ohio.

Approximately 75% of the top 100 companies in central Ohio look to Acloché for help, including Bank One and Honda. Acloché employed over 15,000 people in central Ohio last year.
