Opus West Corp. opened the first phase of the Sacramento Gateway development in Sacramento, Calif. Named the Promenade at Natomoas, the 663,000-square-foot retail center is part of a 1.3-million-square-foot mixed-use project. Gateway will also feature a 600,000-square-foot office complex and a pedestrian-friendly lifestyle center.

O&S Holdings, LLC retained four contractors for its Bridge Street Town Centre project. Winter Construction will work on a hotel and the northern half of the 550,000-square-foot lifestyle center; Brasfield & Gorrie build the garage; VCC Construction will handle the movie theater, 150,000-square-foot office building and 95,000-square-foot big box retail space; and ValleyCrest Landscape Development will handle landscaping.

Wells Fargo Commercial Mortgage provided a $29 million construction loan for the development of approximately 10.6 acres of land in Wildwood, Mo. into a mixed-use retail/office property. When finished, the development will consist of seven buildings totaling 118,000-square-feet, a 300-car garage, two pad sites and 2.2 acres of excess land.

Landonomics Group started work on the first phase of its Harbour View Station Town Center and Harbour View East development in Suffolk, Va. The 1.5-million-square-foot project will include retail, residential and office components, in addition to an existing theater and hospital.

Hopkins Real Estate Group is considering mixed-use options to reposition the 315,000-square-foot Palm Springs Mall. The company recently closed escrow on the property.
