Construction is under way on a 15-story, 350-room Renaissance Suites hotel near Chicago's O'Hare International Airport. Scheduled to open in fall 2001, the all-suites hotel, developed by Chicago-based Lakeland Enterprises Inc., will feature a 1,500 sq. ft. fitness center and an indoor pool. A 5,000 sq. ft. ballroom, which can be divided into five meeting rooms, will be on the first floor, and seven meeting rooms will be on the third floor.
