Shea Properties: Big plans for South Orange County

Aliso Viejo, Calif.-based Shea Properties has unveiled plans for Vantis, a 1.5 million sq. ft., $350 million office campus in South Orange County, Calif. Shea received local approval for the project in August, and plans to break ground next spring. Los Angeles-based Colliers Seeley's Irvine, Calif., office will lease the development.

Development plans for Vantis include nine three- to eight-story buildings clustered throughout the site to take advantage of view of surrounding mountain ranges and the Saddleback Valley. Development plans also call for the buildings to be linked to each other and to the Aliso Viejo Town Center retail area through a system of pedestrian walkways.
