Wild, Wiley Wal-Mart

Wal-Mart has gone to great lengths to prove it's a caring company. No, the world's largest retailer is not raising employee pay or benefits; it's committing $35 million over 10 years to preserve wildlife refuges. In partnership with The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, Wal-Mart is sponsoring “Acres for America,” which promises to conserve at least one acre of wildlife habitat for every acre the company develops.
