Huntington Hires KeyCorp Exec to Lead CRE Lending

Huntington Bancshares Inc., based in Columbus, Ohio, has hired Renee Csuhran as director of commercial real estate for the bank. She will operate out of the Cleveland office.

Before joining Huntington in 2012, Csuhran spent more than 20 years at KeyCorp. in Cleveland, Ohio in various senior-level roles, including executive vice president and director of institutional real estate, real estate investment banking, and healthcare groups, executive vice president and director of credit risk management, and executive vice president and national client segment manager of real estate capital. In these roles, Csuhran oversaw the management of a $10 billion loan portfolio, implemented credit processes, monitored asset quality and credit exposure, and led credit due diligence and loan review teams.

She will report to Nick Stanutz, the bank’s senior executive vice president of the Asset Based Lending, Commercial Real Estate and Auto Finance Group. “Renee came to Huntington with a strong commercial real estate and credit risk management background that will allow us to continue to promote a strong risk culture,” he says in a statement. “We have a disciplined growth strategy around commercial real estate, and Renee’s broad-based experience will help Huntington successfully manage and grow the segment.”
