Hopkins Real Estate Group and Rockwood Capital completed the 47th Street Pavilion, a 500,000-sq.-ft. shopping center in Palmdale, Calif.

CBL & Associates Properties, Inc. will re-open Brookfield Square, a 1.1-million-sq.-ft. mall in Brookfield, Wis. The mall recently underwent a renovation.

National Realty & Development Corp. broke ground for the redevelopment of the Lions Head Plaza, a 385,000-sq.-ft. retail property in Somerdale, N.J.

Stanbery Development opened Phase I of the Promenade at Coconut Creek, a 350,000-sq.-ft. lifestyle center in Northern Broward County, Fla. Phase II, encompassing 105,000 sq. ft., will be completed in 2009.

Hopkins Real Estate Group and Arnel Capital Partners completed the 215,000-sq.-ft. Imperial Promenade in La Habra, Calif.

Isram Realty Holdings appointed Shai Moschowitz as CEO. Moschowitz previously worked at Woolbright Development.

Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services appointed Alvin Mansour as first vice president of investments. Mansour has been with the company since 2003.

Voit Commercial Brokerage hired Mark D. Ashton as vice president of commercial real estate.

Watt Cos. appointed Susan Rorison as president. Rorison previously served as director of national asset management with Burnham Pacific Properties.

Champion Development opened the Burbank Collection, an $80 million mixed-use project in Burbank, Calif.

CBL & Associates Properties Inc. and Ewing Southeast Realty opened Statesboro Crossing, a 162,000-sq.-ft. community shopping center in Statesboro, Ga.

Savills LLC hired Stephen Shapiro and John Wilcox II. Prior to joining Savills, Shapiro worked at Eastdil Secured and Wilcox worked at DTZ Rockwood.

Hollis + Miller Architects appointed John Ho as project manager. Prior to joining Hollis + Miller, he worked as an architect/construction manager with American Multi-Cinema.

Regency Centers appointed Andre Koleszar as vice president in its Atlanta office. Koleszar has been with the company since 2005. Previously, he worked for a private firm.

Ernst & Young Global LLP appointed Richard Sinkuler as executive director of the global real estate center in its New York office. Previously, he served as Americas director of the real estate, hospitality and construction practice with the firm.

Voit Commercial Brokerage hired Rick I. Wu as vice president of commercial real estate. Prior to joining Voit Commercial, Wu served as manager of leasing and acquisitions with American National Investments, Inc.

Urban Housing Group broke ground for the Courtyards at Old Town, a new community combining 163 luxury apartment units with 6,000 sq. ft. of retail space in Monrovia, Calif.

ING Clarion Capital appointed Timothy Zietara as senior vice president. Previously, Zietara served as managing director with the real estate structured finance and equity group at CIT.

Grubb & Ellis Co. hired Ian Brown as senior vice president with the retail group in its Newport Beach, Calif., office. Brown previously served as executive vice president and partner with DNB Development LLC.
