NEW JERSEY—HFF LP has been retained by Equity Residential to exclusively market the sale of The Highlands at South Plainfield, located at 1300 Cook Lane in South Plainfield, N.J., as well as The Highlands at Cherry Hill in Cherry Hill, N.J. for a combined sales price of $85 million.
The Highlands at South Plainfield was constructed in 2000 and is a class A, garden-style apartment community consisting of 252 homes. The property is located off Interstate 287 and is in close proximity to Interstate 95, the New Jersey Turnpike and the Garden State Parkway.
Units include open kitchens, walk-in closets and a washer/dryer in each unit, as well as private balconies and patios. Amenities at the property include clubhouse, business center, coffee bar, fitness center, pool and sundeck with grills.
The Highlands at Cherry Hill is a 170-residence apartment community, currently 97 percent leased and in close proximity to Philadelphia, Pa. The property, constructed in 2002, is located at 1980 Marlton Pike East in Cherry Hill, N.J. and includes such amenities as clubhouse, fitness center, business center, pool, sundeck and private balconies and patios.
