Subaru Taps NFI for Build-Out of New Distribution and Training Center in Florence

NEW JERSEY—NFI has been selected by Subaru of America to build the car company’s new parts distribution and training center in Florence. The building planned is the largest built-to-suit project in the state of New Jersey this year.

The Subaru facility will contain 526,050 sq. ft. of Class A distribution space and will include tilt-up concrete construction, 32-ft. clear, 83 loading doors and 17,000 sq. ft. of office and training space. The property is slated for delivery in June 2013.

The proposal contains plans for highway improvements and also contains plans for the building to achieve Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Certification with a solar panel array on the roof of the building provided by NFI Solar.

Located at NFI Park at Florence Crossings, the property is in close proximity to the New Jersey Turnpike and Pennsylvania Turnpike extension.

NFI, a supply chain solutions provider based in Cherry Hill, completed the transaction with Subaru of America and its real estate brokers from CBRE Inc.
