Vigilant Expands in Jersey City

NEW JERSEY—Vigilant Inc. has signed an 11,048-sq.-ft. sublease and a 2,818-sq.-ft. new lease to occupy the entire eighth floor at 15 Exchange Place in Jersey City.

Colliers International New Jersey’s John Cahill, managing director, along with Michael Tesser, senior managing director, arranged the deal on behalf of the tenant. Working on the behalf of the sub landlord, Flextronics, Michael Witko of The Garibaldi Group arranged the sublease portion of the transaction.

Vigilant, a provider of security monitoring and IT risk consulting services, needed additional space to accommodate its growth. The firm is scheduled to move into its new space this month.

Owned by Hartz Mountain, Exchange Place offers tenants unobstructed views of Manhattan and is located adjacent to the New York Waterway Ferry Service, the Exchange Place PATH station and the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail. The property is also convenient to Newark Liberty International Airport.
