5 Hanover Square Gets Gallery Systems

NEW YORK—Gallery Systems Inc., a collection management and web publishing software solutions provider, signed an eight-year lease to occupy approximately 7,225 sq. ft. on the 19th floor of 5 Hanover Square.

Frank Cento, Jonathan Fein and Carlos Suarez of Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord, an affiliate of Savanna, while Richard Gottlieb of Hunter Realty represented the tenant in this transaction.

Constructed in 1962, 5 Hanover Square underwent a capital improvement program in the early 2000s, which included a new and relocated building lobby, new bathrooms and floor upgrades. Elevator cabs, electrical upgrades and security systems were also included. Comprised of 25 stories totaling approximately 325,000 sq. ft., Savanna acquired 5 Hanover Square in 2010.

Founded in 1981 with the development of a collection management system for the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Gallery Systems develops new technology and collection management systems for cultural institutions worldwide.
