Fine Arts Building Sells for $34M

NEW YORK—Fine Arts Building LLC has acquired The Fine Arts Building, located at 232 East 59th Street in New York City, for $34 million.

Luxury real estate firm Brown Harris Stevens, the exclusive affiliate of Christie’s International Real Estate Inc., represented the buyer in the transaction with Howard Morrel, SVP, leading the deal. The seller was Battaglia Realty LLC.

Constructed in 1926, The Fine Arts building served as the former Bloomingdales stable house. Comprised of 42,176 sq. ft. of space, 232 East 59th Street stands six stories high.
