NEW YORK—GfK, a global research company, has signed a 16-year, 75,020-sq.-ft. lease at 200 Liberty Street in Manhattan. Building owner Brookfield Office Properties was represented by Jones Lang LaSalle’s John Wheeler, managing director, Paul Glickman, vice chairman, and Clayton Kline, VP. The team worked closely with David Cheiken, VP of leasing, with Brookfield Office Properties.
The tenant was represented by Mark Jaccom, president and managing principal with Cresa New York, and Richard Plehn, senior managing director with Colliers International.
GfK will occupy the entire fourth floor at 200 Liberty Street, which is located between West Street and South End Avenue, in a relocation from 75 9th Ave.
Currently undergoing a comprehensive $250 million redevelopment, the Brookfield Place complex provides direct connections to the new World Trade Center and Fulton Center transit hubs.
