NEW YORK—Golfsmith International has opened its first specialty gold store on Fifth Avenue at 420 Fifth Ave. It is the second Manhattan location for the retailer.
The new location spans 15,000 sq. ft. over two stories. The location features three club fitting studios with simulators that enable customers to test drive the latest equipment with the same technology used to fit tour pros. The store also includes an indoor putting green and technology bar with GPS units, range finders and gadgets.
A grand opening is slated for this weekend and will include giveaways, contests and expert-led clinics.
