NEW YORK—Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellot LLC has signed a 6,056-sq.-ft. lease expansion at Ten Bank Street in White Plains, N.Y. It is the firm’s fourth expansion since taking occupancy at the building five years ago, which now occupies 15,244 sq. ft. of space.

Jeffrey H. Newman, executive vice president of Malkin Properties, which markets and manages the building, represented the landlord in the transaction, along with Kimberly Zaccagnino, senior leasing associate, and Tara Long, leasing associate. The tenant represented itself in the transaction.

“Our Ten Bank Street office provides easy access to Manhattan via the White Plains Transportation Center, and acts as a vital link between our Boston and Philadelphia locations,” said Tim Ryan, CEO of Eckert Seamans.

Eckert Seamans was founded in Pittsburgh (where it still is headquartered) in 1958. Today, the firm has more than 245 attorneys in nine locations.

Located in downtown White Plains, Ten Bank Street is a 12-story, 225,000-sq.-ft. office building situated next to the White Plains Transportation Center. The property includes an updated lobby, renovated common corridors and restrooms, an in-house concierge service, café, a parking garage and 24/7 on-site security. In 2010, the property earned Energy Star designation from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
