NEW YORK—Leadership Directories has signed a 10-year, 12,370-sq.-ft. lease at 1407 Broadway, which will serve as the company’s New York City headquarters. Grant Greenspan of the Kaufman Organization represented ownership, while Michael Kaufman of the Kaufman Organization represented the tenant. Grant Greenspan, Michael Heaner and Jessica Kosaric of the Kaufman Organization are the exclusive leasing agents for the building.
Leadership Directories, a subscription database of contact information for U.S. government, business, professional and nonprofit organizations, will occupy the third floor of 1470 Broadway. The tenant plans to build out an open office with occupancy slated for this fall.
“Over the past several months we have been upgrading office space at 1407 Broadway by committing to infrastructure enhancements,” said Greenspan. “A secure telecommunication riser will provide redundant internet and fiber options, so new office tenants in the creative and digital industries always stay connected. The convenient location of 1407 Broadway is a bonus – being centrally located in a transit hub makes commuting easier.”
Constructed in 1952, 1407 Broadway includes a tower and base. The office towers, located on floors 23 through 42, feature a card-swipe entry and 360-degree views of Manhattan. The ownership is currently making updates to hallways, bathrooms and more. Designed by architecture firm Kahn and Jacobs, the building offers 24-hour access, on-site security, banking, food service, on-site management and close proximity to Times Square, Herald Square and public transportation.
