M&M Capital Names Pins as Assoc. Director

NEW YORK CITY—Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation (MMCC) has named Anita Pins as an associate director in the firm’s Manhattan office, according to William E. Hughes, senior vice president and managing director of MMCC.

Prior to joining MMCC, Pins served from 1998 through 2011 as senior vice president of Community Preservation Corp., marketing and originating construction and permanent loans for multifamily and mixed-use properties and generating more than $750 million in mortgages.

Pins has also been an underwriting manager for a national equity fund where she managed a unit responsible for the investment of funds raised through the sale of federal housing tax credits. She is also a former executive director of the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development.

Pins holds a Master of Science degree in the preservation of architecture from Columbia University and graduated cum laude from New York University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in architectural history/sociology.
