NEW YORK—Shawmut Design and Construction has completed the build-out 7,900 sq.ft. of space at 789 Madison Ave., which serves as the first flagship location for kate spade new york. The 7,900-sq.-ft. location spans three levels of retail space.
“It’s been a wonderful experience completing this project for an iconic fashion brand like kate spade new york,” said Bill Pisani, vice president at Shawmut Design and Construction, which is completing another kate spade new york retail store in Huntington Station, N.Y. “We’ve enjoyed collaborating with the in-house design team on bringing the kate spade new yorkbrand to life in this new setting.”
Spanning three levels, the space serves as retail space for kate spade new york. Features of the space include marble floors, white lacquered walls and a feature staircase with custom stone treads imported from Italy with custom brass nosings on each riser.
