Boston Hotel Fetches $53 Million

An Embassy Suites Hotel at Boston’s Logan International Airport has sold for $53.4 million. The buyer, Eagle Hospitality Trust (EHP), will own the only Embassy Suites-branded hotel in Boston once the deal closes later on this quarter. The hotel will continue to be operated as an Embassy Suites property, too.

“The Embassy Suites Boston fits squarely in our investment strategy of acquiring high-quality hotels in high-barrier-to-entry urban and select resort markets,” says Eagle Hospitality’s senior vice president of acquisitions Brian Guernier. The lodging company is a listed REIT.

The hotel features 273 rooms, approximately 5,000 sq. ft. of meeting space and a 2,400 sq. ft. ballroom. It also has an indoor pool and fitness center.
