Arlington, Va. – Locally based The Mills Corp. recently began construction on Colorado Mills in Lakewood, Colo. The 1.2 million sq.-ft. retail and entertainment shopping center is located on 130 acres and is scheduled to open Fall 2002.
The $250 million retail and entertainment venue also will feature an outdoor component, named "E-Street," which will feature restaurants, a museum and other entertainment venues. Denver West Realty Inc. and Munich, Germany-based Kan Am also will partner in the project.
