NEW YORK — Stamford, Conn.-based GE Capital Real Estate has chosen bluewire by CapitalThinking as its core processing platform. The software, installed last month, is a Web-based commercial real estate asset management application designed to streamline the asset management process. Key operations include deal tracking and management, underwriting and digitized storage of data.
GE Capital Real Estate will offer bluewire on both a hosted and installed license basis, and will continue the software operation and maintenance. The software offers such benefits as increased cost-effectiveness with minimal capital investment, reliability through Sun Solaris/Oracle platforms and database and security using SSL encryption and Virtual Private Networks for data transfer.
