MBA Conference Video: Debt Market Surprises

Lenders are moving outside of the première core markets and are starting to look at taking more risk. In a surprising development, mezzanine money is now moving into the market at aggressive prices at 8 percent on the low end to 12 percent on the high end of the market. This new vehicle will help companies reduce their leverage and bring in new capital to help fund tenant improvements, leasing commissions and deferred capital expenditures.
