PRESS RELEASE: Excitement Builds As Oct. 8 NYC Real Estate Expo Nears

NEW YORK --  The last thing anyone connected to the region’s real estate industry will want to hear on the Wednesday after the NYC Real Estate Expo (www.nycreexpo.com)  on October 8 is “Why weren’t you there?”

The 5thannual extravaganza is set for Tuesday, October 8 at a new venue, Midtown Manhattan’s New York Hilton Hotel. The day-long expo is expected to draw more than 3,500 professionals representing all facets of the commercial and residential real estate industry. It is New York’s only full-scale real estate exposition and conference geared exclusively towards the real estate and real estate-related professionals.

According to Expo Executive Director Anthony Kazazis, “Over 120 vendors will participate and there will be dozens of educational seminars and forums throughout the day. Having an opportunity to hear and meet so many of our industry’s legendary ‘movers and shakers’ is a major attraction in itself —a great opportunity to learn from the stories and tested methods of our hugely successful guests. There is no other venue like this.”

The return of the NYC Real Estate Titans panel featuring the industry’s most well-known luminaries promises to be a highlight of the event.

Among featured presenters will be: John Catsimatidis,  Chairman & CEO, Red Apple Group, and candidate for NYC Mayor; Faith Consolo, Chairman, Douglas Elliman Real Estate - The Retail Group; Francis Greenburger, Chairman/ CEO, Time Equities; Michael Ashner, Chairman/CEO, Winthrop Realty Trust; Kent Swig, President, Swig Equities, LLC; Shimon Shkury, Founder & President, Ariel Property Advisors; Michael Stoler, President, New York Real Estate TV, LLC; John Lam,  Chairman/ CEO, Lam Group; James Nelson, Partner, Massey Knakal Realty Services; and Stephen Meringoff,  Co-Managing Partner,  Himmel + Meringoff Properties, and many others.

A centerpiece of the NYC Real Estate Expo will be Media Row where guest speakers, presenters and panelists – respected thought leaders, visionaries and innovators in the real estate industry -- will be interviewed. They will appear on various media throughout the day via streaming photos, videos, texts and tweets, and businesses and the media will post highlights on social and traditional media for weeks after.

Another attraction will be Technology Village  – a “Show within a Show” featuring 14 of the most innovative technology companies – from start-ups to established brands. Here, visionaries and pioneers will showcase their products and services revolutionizing the real estate industry.

Organizer Anthony Kazazis says, “Networking is the name of the game. There is no other venue like this in the industry where attendees can hear and meet the biggest players all in one place. It is a rare opportunity and a rare attraction in itself. And even if a company’s staff can’t attend, it makes sense to have a presence through sponsorship and/or an ad in the event Journal.”

Technology Village, Media Row and full show NYCREE sponsors, advertisers and exhibitors are encouraged to reserve early. Space is limited to about 120 exhibitors on the show’s main floor.
