PRESS RELEASE: Nursery Acres Acquires 75,330-SF Cabela’s Store in Grand Junction, Colo.: Transwestern Brokers Sale on Behalf of Buyer

DENVER – Transwestern’s Denver office today announced it brokered the acquisition by Nursery Acres L.P. of a 75,330-square-foot Cabela’s retail store located at 2424 Highway 6 in Grand Junction, Colo. Built in 1983, the outdoor recreation retailer sits on a 6.76-acre lot at Mesa Mall. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Transwestern Managing Directors Brad Cohen and Larry Thiel represented the buyer. Nursery Acres purchased the building to complete a 1031 exchange and plans to keep the property long-term. Faris Lee represented the seller, Macerich Mesa Mall Holdings LLC.

“The Mesa Mall is the largest shopping hub between Denver and Salt Lake City,” said Thiel. “This premier location and the street frontage on U.S. 6 in Grand Junction made this a very desirable asset.”
