NEWARK, N.J. - Reliable Health Solutions, a health administration consultancy and business processing outsourcing company, has leased 10,000 square feet at 570 Broad in Newark. The Berger Organization, which manages and operates the 15-story tower, recently completed the fit-out of the firm's new headquarters, located on the building's 7th floor.
"Our focus is on delivering fully compliant and secure domestic health plan operations for our customers," noted Reliable Health Solution's Robert Sullivan, chief financial officer. "We chose Newark for its access to a talented workforce and proximity to many outstanding colleges and universities. The Bergers delivered a completely renovated, secure, state-of-the-art facility for our headquarters. We are excited about being in both an industry and city that will see tremendous growth potential in the years ahead."
Brendan Berger, vice president of The Berger Organization, represented his company in negotiating the long-term transaction. NAI Geis out of Philadelphia served as tenant broker.
"Newark's progress as a 24/7 urban hub continues to attract growing companies like Reliable Health Solutions," Berger noted. "It is always gratifying when they choose to lease at one of our properties, taking advantage of an opportunity to gain a foothold - with custom-designed, affordable space - in the heart of a city that is again emerging as one of New Jersey's best places to do business."
Located across from Newark's Washington Square Park, 570 Broad offers easy access to Newark Penn Station and Broad Street Station; local dining, shopping and lodging; and entertainment venues like Prudential Center, the New Jersey Performing Arts Center and Newark Bears Stadium. The property also is within walking distance of the Newark campuses of Seton Hall and Rutgers universities, and the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
The Berger Organization maintains a controlling interest in 570 Broad Street, LLC, the partnership that owns 570 Broad. During the past few years, the ownership has updated the building's technology capabilities, and installed new state-of-the-art high-speed elevators, HVAC and security systems, and high-speed fiber-optics. The Berger Organization is in the midst of additional building infrastructure improvements. Ongoing plans call for a parking element with one space per 1,000 square feet, a conference room for use by tenants, and a fitness center for tenants and their employees.
Other tenants at 570 Broad include State Farm Insurance, Chase Manhattan Bank, Baldassare & Mara, PC Tech and Lycatel. Full floors of 15,000 square feet, divisible to 2,500 square feet, remain available.
