E.J. Welch & Company has purchased a 75,072 square foot industrial building located at 2601 Lively Boulevard in Elk Grove Village. The flooring company is relocating their operations from Morse Avenue in Elk Grove Village. Built in 1973, the building has undergone extensive remodeling and features 5,864 square feet of office space, six interior docks, one drive-in door and parking for 56 cars. Gleason, CCIM represented the buyer in the transaction. Mike Sedjo, Kevin Segerson and Chris Zubel of CBRE worked on behalf of the seller, Prologis.
Eleganza Tiles has acquired a 36,323 square foot building at 2200 West Devon Avenue in Elk Grove Village. The company is a leading distributor of Ceramic and Porcelain tiles in North America for residential and commercial use. After leasing the property for five years, Eleganza Tiles made the decision to buy the facility based on the excellent location with immediate expressway access making it easy for clients as well as the great visibility on Devon Avenue. Gleason, CCIM represented both the buyer and the seller, Sitex Group, in the transaction.
