PRESS RELEASE: Three New Associate Directors Join Eastern Consolidated

New York – Eastern Consolidated today announced it has brought on board three new Associate Directors to join its top team of professional investment sales brokers.

Wade Hazelton, Andrew Mayer Sasson and Chad Ian Sinsheimer have joined Eastern, each with different backgrounds and expertise.

“The market continues to accelerate unabated as investors seek to buy a wide variety of asset types, from retail condos to development sites to mixed-use properties and more, given today’s low interest rates and the stability throughout the Greater New York metro region,” said Daun Paris, president of Eastern Consolidated. “We are expanding to meet that demand, to help our clients make better and more informed decisions and to offer an enhanced level of expertise overall.”

Mr. Hazelton (27) joins directly from serving as a distressed debt investment analyst with Argo Partners, whose clients required bankruptcy and re-structuring advisory services.  His recommendations led to investments in various forms of debt of public and private companies over the course of his tenure. Earlier he had positions with Mainstay Investments analyzing market trends and making investment recommendations, and with Merrill Lynch serving in their Wealth Management division. A member of REBNY, he earned a B.S. from Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business and an M.B.A. from New York University’s Stern School of Business.

Mr. Sasson (26), whose focus is in the sales and acquisition of retail and multifamily properties, served as Asset Manager for S&S Equities of New York and New Jersey, Inc., where he was responsible for the management of over 30 commercial assets including residential, mixed-use, office and hotel properties located in New York, New Jersey and California.   After receiving a B.S. from Boston University’s School of Hospitality Administration, he began studies at New York University’s Schack Institute of Real Estate and expects to receive an M.S. degree this coming fall.

Mr. Sinsheimer (38) specializes in investment sales with a particular emphasis on the Upper West Side and Harlem.  His Wall Street background as an option trader has resulted in an aptitude for valuation and an enhanced ability to decipher large, complex financial transactions.  Prior to joining Eastern, he was an Equity Options Trader at the Cutler Group LP where his self-funded portfolio focused primarily on illiquid names, binary events, Regulation Sho securities and biotechnology. Before that, he was a Senior Equity Options Trader at Group One Trading where he led a team that made markets in a portfolio of over 400 NYSE Equity Options, NASDAQ Equity Options and Exchange Index Options.  He is a member of REBNY, holds a Series 7, 55, 56 and 63 securities licenses and is a graduate of Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Public Communication.

Founded in 1981, Manhattan-based Eastern Consolidated is one of the country’s preeminent full-service real estate investment services firms, offering unrivaled expertise in the greater New York marketplace to an impressive worldwide roster of institutional and private investor clients. The 40-person team of brokers, who, combined, offer fluency in 11 languages, come from a wide diversity of entrepreneurial and professional backgrounds. With annual sales up to $4 billion, Eastern Consolidated focuses on the acquisition, disposition and finance of all types of properties.
