PRESS RELEASE: West, Lane & Schlager Negotiates New Deals Totaling More Than 34,000 SF For Clients In D.C. Area

WASHINGTON, D.C. – West, Lane & Schlager Realty Advisors, LLC, a Washington, D.C.-based commercial real estate brokerage firm that exclusively represents tenants, announced today that it has negotiated new leases on behalf of five clients in the Washington Metropolitan Region.

The clients are the Appalachian Regional Commission, Business Computers Management Consulting Group (“BCMC”), State Voices, The Order of St. John, and Berberian & Company.

In the first transaction, Eric West, LEED AP, a principal with West, Lane & Schalger, and Ganon Rich, a senior vice president at the firm, represented the Appalachian Regional Commission in a multi-year, 22,788-square-foot lease at 1666 Connecticut Ave. NW.

The Appalachian Regional Commission is a federal-state partnership that works for sustainable community and economic development in Appalachia.

In a second deal, Matthew Levin, SIOR, LEED AP, a senior vice president with West, Lane & Schlager, and Andrew Genova, a senior associate at the firm, negotiated for BCMC in a multi-year lease relocation totaling 3,771 square feet at 3130 Fairview Park Drive in Falls Church.

BCMC provides a range of services to federal, state and local government agencies. Its services include big data and program management, cyber security, and information assurance and technology.

Genova, along with Rich, represented State Voices in a multi-year lease relocation of 3,600 square feet at 1625 Massachusetts Ave. NW.

State Voices envisions an America that provides fairness and opportunity to all citizens. The organization’s network supports creative ways to mobilize and empower people across the country, particularly those who are underrepresented. They ensure that these individuals’ voices are heard, and their participation is assured, in the public sphere.


Tommy Fuge, an associate with West, Lane & Schlager, negotiated on behalf of The Order of St. John in a multi-year lease for 2,583 square feet at 1850 M St. NW.

The Order of St John is a major international humanitarian charity accredited to the United Nations, the branches of which provide health care and first-responder services in more than 40 nations around the world.

Genova also represented government contractor Berberian & Company in a multi-year lease relocation of 1,500 square feet at 4075 Wilson Blvd. in Arlington.
