A&G Realty Brings in Jonathon Graub as Principal

A&G Realty Partners hired Jonathon Graub as principal. In his new position, he will advise the firm’s retail clients on strategic growth opportunities and assist them with their real estate operations.

Prior to joining A&G, Graub served as executive vice president of Charming Shoppes. While there, he grew the company’s portfolio from 1,000 to 2,300 stores and was responsible for all facets of real estate, including developing and executing growth strategies, site selection, lease negotiations, construction management, store design, occupancy cost management and acquisitions.

“We are thrilled to have Jon join our team,” said Andy Graiser, co-president of A&G Realty Partners, in a statement. “Jon is very well-respected in the retail and investor community and has been extremely successful in growing the Charming Shoppes chain. His experience will be vital to our clients.”

Brixmor Signs Multiple Leases

Cleveland Furniture Bank signed a 58,425-sq.-ft. lease with Brixmor Property Group for a location at Southland Shopping Center in Middleburg Heights, Ohio. Greg Slyman, of Kelly & Visconsi Associates, represented the tenant in the transaction. Ron McGehee represented Brixmor in-house.

Tuesday Morning signed a 14,151-sq.-ft. lease at Brixmor’s Southland Shopping Center in Middleburg Heights, Ohio. David Gerstenhaber represented Brixmor in-house;

Toys 4 U signed a 10,047-sq.-ft. lease withBrixmor Property Group at Lakewood Plaza in Lakewood, N.J. Aryeh Gutwein, of LG Properties, represented the tenant in the transaction. Craig Sherby represented Brixmor.

FRCH to Design Panama City Shopping Center

St. Joe Co.,CASTO and Strategic Retail Advisorsa ppointed FRCH Design Worldwide to design Pier Park North, a 400,000-sq.-ft. shopping center in Panama City, Fla. The center is scheduled to open in the spring of 2014. Tenants at the property will include Dick’s Sporting Goods, Michaels, PetSmart and Ross Dress for Less.

L3 Negotiates Midwest Leases for Ross Dress for Less, Ulta Beauty

L3 Corp. negotiated new leasing transactions in April.

Ross Dress for Less signed a lease with SW Plaza I & II LLC for a 22,000-sq.-ft. store at SouthwestPlaza in Springfield, Ill. L3 represented Ross Dress for Less in the transaction.

The retailer also signed a lease with The Mills Corp. for a 34,965-sq.-ft. store at St. Louis Mills Mall in Hazelwood, Mo. L3 represented Ross in the transaction.

Ulta Beauty signed a lease with Primrose Marketplace 625 for a 10,005-sq.-ft. store at Primrose Marketplace in Springfield, Mo. L3 represented Ulta Beauty.

Divaris Completes Deals for Virginia Landlords

Divaris Real Estate completed new retail leases in Virginia.

O’Reilly Auto Parts signed a 12,608-sq.-ft. lease with Zimmer Properties No. 5 LLCfor a store at 3212 Tidewater Drive in Norfolk. O’Reilly will take over a former Rite Aid space. Levy Thompson, of Divaris Real Estate, represented the landlord in the transaction.

Pleasants Hardware signed a lease with Midlothian Center LLC for a 10,000-sq.-ft. store at Midlothian Station in Richmond. Sara Goodall and John Madures, of Divaris, represented the landlord.

Other Notable News

GBT Realty completed construction on a 72,000-sq.-ft. store for Academy Sports + Outdoors in Huntsville, Ala. Reed Construction served as the site contractor on the project and Stewart Perry Construction was the general contractor.
