New 500,000 Sq. Ft. Lifestyle Center Planned in Arkansas

Jones Lang LaSalle and Pinnacle Hills Development are co-developing a new 500,000 sq. ft. lifestyle center in the burgeoning market of Rogers, Ark. Pinnacle Hills Promenade, which will include a 200,000 sq. ft. fashion anchor, multiplex cinema, restaurant and other retailers, is being built to support the population and business growth in the area. Jones Lang LaSalle is also the leasing and management agent.

Named the country’s top performing metropolitan area by the Milken Institute Study in June 2003, Rogers is just minutes away from the world headquarters of Wal-Mart, J.B. Hunt Trucking and Tyson’s Food. Numerous industries that do business with Wal-Mart are also deciding to open offices close by. As a result, Rogers has experienced an 8% population surge in the past year.

"We recognized the need to provide this emerging market with a mixed-use development that would support the rapid population and business growth," says Bill Schwyhart, a principal of The Pinnacle Group.

The project’s initial phase opened fall of 2002 with 100,000 sq. ft. of office space. Pinnacle Hills Promenade is scheduled to open in phases with the retail component to be completed in March 2005.
