Craig Tomlinson, a senior director with Stan Johnson Co., describes how the net lease market has remained stable and healthy for the last 10 quarters. The firm recently analyzed investment sales data to strip out noise created by mergers and other financial arrangements that didn’t include pure property sales and found deal flow has been consistent. The outlier was the fourth quarter of 2012, when a lot of deals went through before the rise in capital gains taxes went into effect in January.
