Still Life Portraits of New South China Mall

We wrote before about the New South China Mall in Dongguan, the world's largest enclosed mall and also one of its emptiest.

Today, the Switchboard blog at the National Resources Defense Council has published some interior shots of the property, which are haunting. The mall looks like a vestige of civilization in the wake of some kind of an acopolypse that has wiped out human kind. Wonder what will happen to it in the future.
