Cushman & Wakefield Names Larry Downey EVP

Larry Downey has been named executive vice president of Cushman & Wakefield’s Phoenix office. Downey, a 25-year veteran of the commercial real estate industry, began his real estate career in 1984 and has been consistently recognized locally and nationally for his superior production. He has managed the real estate needs nationally for Education Management Corp. (EDMC) of Pittsburgh, TriWest Healthcare Alliance and Medicis Pharmaceutical Corp. In recent years he has served as exclusive leasing agent for such landmark properties as Camelback Esplanade, Two Renaissance Tower and Anchor Centre.

GVA Kidder Mathews Recruits Dan Cronan to Lead San Francisco Office

GVA Kidder Mathews has recruited commercial real estate veteran Dan Cronan to head its downtown San Francisco office. Cronan was the managing director for Pacific Union/GMAC Commercial’s office in San Francisco, where he was both the office’s top producing broker and its executive director. Cronan has spent the last 24 years specializing in the San Francisco office market representing tenants including many prominent downtown law offices and financial firms. Cronan has been named senior vice president and partner at GVA Kidder Mathews where he will continue his tenant representation work and lead the office’s brokerage group.
