Debra Cafaro

Debra Cafaro serves as CEO of Ventas Inc., a REIT which owns about 1,300 healthcare, life science and seniors housing properties. The REIT’s market capitalization grew to $24 billion from $200 million since she became CEO in 1999. Cafaro, who is also Ventas’ board chairman, previously had served as president and a director of a multifamily REIT and as an attorney.

MaryAnne Gilmartin

MaryAnn Gilmartin serves as president and CEO of development firm Forest City Ratner, where she leads major real estate projects, including The New York Times Building and Pacific Park Brooklyn. In January, Gilmartin was awarded the Bernard H. Mendik Lifetime Leadership Award from the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY).

Jean Kane

Jean Kane is CEO of Welsh Co. and Colliers International Minneapolis St. Paul, a full-service commercial real estate firm. Under her leadership, Welsh has grown to a 300-person firm. Kane is a member of NAIOP’s board of directors and served as its chairman in 2014. She was also named to the Midwest Real Estate Hall of Fame in 2011.

Mary Ann Tighe

Mary Ann Tighe serves as CEO of CBRE’s New York Tri-State Region, a role she has held since 2002. Over her more than three decades of experience, Tighe has been responsible for more than 97.5 million sq. ft. in commercial real estate transactions. She was the first woman to serve as chairman of the REBNY for a three-year term that began in 2010.

Andrea Olshan

Andrea Olshan has been the CEO of privately-held real estate investment firm Olshan Properties since 2012, after serving as the company’s COO. She took over the management of the firm from her father Morton L. Olshan, its founder. Some of Olshan’s accomplishments include achieving consistent double-digit revenue and net asset value growth. Olshan Properties owns and manages 14,000 multifamily units, 10 million sq. ft. of retail space, 3 million sq. ft. of office space and more than 1,400 hotel rooms.

Wendy Simpson

Wendy Simpson serves as chairman, CEO and president of LTC, a healthcare REIT. She has served as CEO and president since 2007 and chairman of LTC’s board since 2013, after joining the company in 2000 as vice chairman. Simpson previously had executive roles in healthcare and hospital-related public companies. She is also a member of the NAREIT advisory board of governors.

Maria Hawthorne

Maria Hawthorne is president and CEO of PS Business Parks, a REIT that focuses on leasing office and industrial space, a role she has held since July 2016 after serving as the REIT’s president since 2015. A member of the NAREIT advisory board of governors, Hawthorne has served in a variety of managerial positions in her more than three decades with the company.

Jackie Soffer

Jackie Soffer serves as CEO and co-chairman of Turnberry Associates, a private real estate development group that focuses on South Florida. She transformed the Aventura Mall into a luxury retail destination and partnered with the LeFrak Organization to develop SoLē Mia, one of the largest developments in North Miami that will feature residences, parks, retail and entertainment components. Soffer is also an independent director on the board of Washington Prime Group, a retail REIT, a member of the University of Miami’s board of trustees and a member of the Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami’s board of trustees.

Jennifer Murphy

Jennifer Murphy is CEO and president of Western Asset Mortgage Capital Corp, a REIT whose portfolio consists of agency RMBS, agency CMBS, residential and commercial whole loans and other financial assets. She has held the role since June 2016, after serving as the REIT’s COO since 2015. With 30 years of experience in the investment management industry, Murphy was also chief administrative officer at investment management firm Legg Mason and CEO and president of Legg Mason Capital Management.

Greta Guggenheim

Greta Guggenheim serves as CEO of TPG Real Estate Finance Trust, a commercial real estate finance company, a role she has held since the start of 2016, according to the Commercial Observer. She also co-founded and served as chief investment officer of Ladder Capital, a commercial mortgage provider.
