Downtown Boston

Office tenants can expect to pay an average of $102.50 for class-A space in downtown Boston.

San Francisco Peninsula

Not surprisingly, the San Francisco Peninsula made the list of office markets with the highest occupancy costs at an average of $93.02 per sq. ft.

Downtown Manhattan

At $86.36 per sq. ft., class-A space in downtown Manhattan is slightly more affordable than in Midtown.

Suburban Los Angeles

In suburban Los Angeles, prime office occupancy costs average $79.10 per sq. ft.

Downtown Houston

While Houston may be experiencing the fallout from the low oil prices soon, for the moment, office occupancy costs in the city remain among the highest in the country, at an average of $62.95 per sq. ft.
