Frosh Stepping Down at SVN

After more than five years serving as president of commercial real estate investment brokerage firm Sperry Van Ness, David Frosh has announced his resignation.

Frosh will remain with the company until his successor is found, but there is no timetable for making a new hire, according to a company spokesperson. Other sources with the company said they didn't see the move coming at all.

In a statement, Frosh said, “As often happens with relationships, we have grown apart. As a result, it is in the best interest of the firm and myself that I resign."

Frosh has been president since April 2001. In his time as president, Sperry Van Ness has grown in size by six times. It now has offices in 36 states, 135 markets and employs approximately 800 brokers.
