Is Johnson Being Forced Out at J.C. Penney?

The New York Post just refuted the rumors that Ron Johnson has already left the department store chain, but it sounds like many people would like for him to leave and that his days at the company may be numbered. One of the people reportedly advocating for his exit is former J.C. Penney CEO Allen Questrom, according to the Dallas Business Journal.

Questrom has told media outlets that he has been getting calls from current company employees asking for his help and described Johnson as being "delusional."

The Post reports that:

Shares of the flailing retailer soared as much as 6 percent yesterday in the wake of a rumor that controversial CEO Ron Johnson had left the company.
