The Shidler Group has acquired the ANA Kalakaua Center, a mixed-use office and retail complex, for approximately $30 million from ANA Real Estate Hawaii Inc. The 151,842 sq. ft., 9-story Class-A office building in Honolulu is 98% occupied. Tenants include Planet Hollywood, Aston Hotels & Resorts and Starwood Hotels. The building was built in 1980. CB Richard Ellis represented the seller and The Shidler Group represented itself in the transaction.
Hyrosen Properties has acquired Orange Tree Marketplace, a 90,472 sq. ft. shopping center, from Newport Beach, Calif.-based SCP Redlands for $23 million. The five-building center is located in Redlands, Calif. and situated on 7 acres. The property tenants include Barnes & Noble, Target, Kohl's and Michaels. Orange Tree Marketplace is currently 100% leased. Sperry Van Ness represented the buyer and the seller in the transaction.
Landings Real Estate Group acquired Anchorage Housing Apartments from Northeast Housing for $15.5 million. The 238-unit apartment complex is 65% occupied and located in Middletown, R.I. on Aquidneck Island. The new owners have renamed the property The Landings and plan to invest $4 million in improvements. GMH Capital Partners represented the seller and Landings Real Estate Group represented itself in the deal.
