First Industrial Realty Trust Inc. has acquired Union Commerce Center from Windisch Development Co. & Kanter Investment No. 3 for approximately $19.8 million. Located in West Chester, Ohio, the five-building, Class-A office/warehouse complex totals 278,000 sq. ft. An additional development pad of 6.36 acres will be used for the future development of a $5 million sixth building. Tenants include Nova Systems and John Deere. The property is 90% occupied.

Hidrock Realty and Assurant Inc. have purchased a 12-story commercial building at 35 West 36th Street, between Fifth and Sixth avenues, from Douglaston Equities LLC for $28 million. The 78,000 sq. ft. building is the second joint purchase on the block for Hidrock and Assurant; the two companies bought 53 West 36 Street in 2007. Hidrock will serve as the building manager and plans to renovate and expand the building's lobby.

Fairfield Residential has acquired Glen Park at West Campus Apartments located in Federal Way, Washington from FSC Realty for $65.6 million. The 464-unit community spans 33 acres and includes a mix of one, two and three-bedroom units averaging 1,100 sq. ft. and also includes 94 townhomes. The complex offers two resort-style pools, an indoor basketball court, tennis courts and other amenities. It is currently 96% occupied.
